Jul 1, 2023 I stopped paying attention to Demi a long time ago. Demi has some good songs, but the music never truly connected with me. I feel like Olivia’s writing makes it very easy to connect with her even if you don’t necessarily relate to what she’s saying. That’s what a good lyricist does.
Jul 2, 2023 You should! Even if you feel the subject matter is too immature, the passion behind the music is undeniable. Not all of her songs are about teenage relationships. jealousy, jealousy and hope ur ok are great examples of that. Even the relationship songs can be pretty evocative in terms of emotion and the lyrics have detailed storytelling at times that enhance said emotion. I relate to her new vampire track… so many people around me sucking my lifeforce.

Jul 2, 2023 Awesome I might take my time to check her out. I’m still trying to make it through this new Ed Sheeran I feel I am aging as listening to it. I’d compare it to his first album quite deep I have to say. Very sad times Ed went through with his wife. Hospitals and a lot of loss but a lot of maturity on this album.
