Jan 22, 2016 i enjoy look @ her... i like the whisperingish voice it works well for this song tbh there are some points where you seem to be struggling to keep the flow going but i can understand why since whispering with a clear voice can strain the vocal chords
Jan 22, 2016 okay now that i've heard the whole tape i see you went for the softer voice on most of the songs not the same whisper as on look @ her but a nice mellow voice... only look @ her has that weaker voice where it sounds like you almost run out of breath it sounds so much better i like this voice a lot more i'm glad you take our feedback in even if it's just for this tape look @ her is still my favorite song off it with me and my shadow behind that i enjoy the hook on me and my shadow (i fed ur prada to the sea doesn't count... still my all time favorite) i like the bit at the end of r e s e v o i r with the "momma i'm married i'm sorry i didn't tell you when" l i l l i e s is nice too.. fought dozens... false promises

Jan 22, 2016 Yeah and I kind of purposefully mixed the 2nd verse to unintelligible except for a few parts (I'm beating u str8 to the punch). Look @ her sounded like s--- for the longest time. I was trying to make it sound like she notice me by thug for too long and it was s---. Weirdest s--- I ever made rofl. But once I got the layering and mixing right and it sounded good aesthetically I just went with it. Glad you like it man
Jan 22, 2016 Not even that intentional to be honest, as I've said in the past it really depends on how I feel in the moment. Like, prada is the more hype high pitched s---, but I had some of these songs already recorded when I put out prada. But yeah I do listen to all the feedback and it helps even if it's I don't intentionally go out of my way to cater to it haha I'm ballin off nicks like I'm aaron afflalo r e s e v o i r and l i l l i e s were my two favorite songs to record for sure. As I get better w my voice those are the kind of tracks I'd like to make instead of straightforward rapping
