@jankland I'd like to ask some s--- about Paramore if that's okay, I lost track after brand new eyes, you think if I'm a fan of their previous work that I'll enjoy the newest stuff or it's maybe too different?

I think you'd still enjoy it but it would be a smoother listen if you know what you're getting into, post Brand New Eyes is when their sound starts going in multiple directions.

Self titled is a poppier record but it still has plenty of rock elements and much larger/cleaner production, it's a decently long album that I go back and forth on in my rankings but it has been continuing to grow on me and has some of my favorite songs from them.

After Laughter is a full 80s synthpop record and I think it's one of the strongest in their discography (especially lyrically) but it takes some getting used to, if you're into this kinda music I think it's one of the better 80s revival projects to come out of the recent nostalgia wave.

And last but not least This Is Why goes in a more Post Punk/Dance Punk direction (i.e. Talking Heads and/or Bloc Party) I think some of the songs on here are closer to the pre self titled era than not but it still has it's own very independent identity, very strong and short tracklist but the lyricism is much more simple than the previous album outside of a few songs and is focused more on the groove of things but it works for the sound!

Also if you like some slow Radiohead esque songs and more semi experimental sounds I also recommend Hayley Williams' solo albums, they have some really catchy stuff and has the most personal writing outside of After Laughter.

Feel free to ask away on any questions because I am hyper autistic and love making long essays!
