    probably cause i'm tired of hearing about it since it was way before my time and people still constantly bring it up
    but now i can't even blame them since psu won't let it go either

    I can imagine. I'm a Pats fan lol. I'm sure it's ten times worse, but it's a legit argument.

    A lot of people kinda were forgetting it too. This is an awful move by Penn.

    Terrible move by Penn, I remember doing a paper on this for school when it all went down. Sad & disgusting.
    Obviously not all of PSU is as bad as that situation them look but it's jarring and it's not ever gunna be a good idea probably to bring up any names tied to that situation ever. Five years isn't a very long time when lives were ruined over the actions.

    I get it, in his own right outside of that situation Joe Pa was a legendary coach, deserves the respect for his on field accomplishments and longevity. But it's a lot like the Bill Cosby situation now, what you did/looked past in the dark in the past will always come to light. It's unfortunate it overshadows him & in turn PSU's accomplishments in that time but humanity will always outweigh things like thing.. and there was nothing humane about that situation.

    One of my friends goes to Penn State and I give him s--- all the time bout it. It's nothing more than a joke to us anymore.
