Feb 12, 2016 tell me how i'm objectively wrong then lay out the actual standard for me that won't, and can't apply to everyone's individual tastes of what's 'good' (BECAUSE IT LITERALLY CAN'T)
Feb 12, 2016 see again you can have taste in what you like (i.e that's why people say "you have s--- TASTE", it's because you're allowed to like things that are bad) that doesn't make them good, it just means you like bad things you can eat a mcdonalds hamburger and say it's the best food out there because it's your favorite. that doesn't mean it's legitemately the best food out there. seriously GRS was less r-----ed than this
Feb 12, 2016 not even joking right now i actually just developed one replying this this s--- i need an asprin
Feb 12, 2016 didnt dodge a god d--- thing if a reviewer says DG is random noise their opinion is disregardable because they're objectively wrong
Feb 12, 2016 F f--- aspirin, I need smoke like a pound of weed to forget what this stupid f--- is saying
Feb 12, 2016 you know, you're right. all art is subjective and open to interpretation. All i'm saying is nobody genuinely likes those works that are literally just dots/splashes of paint on canvas. They aren't anything and lack any form of substance. They are literally a piece made with the intention of having a huge price tag, so that a rich person can go "oh i can afford this" it's all about status and it's all objectively s---. I can't really prove it no, cause I can't ask every single person in the world their opinion about s-----y artwork. But I can say it is 100% factual. you can say "but someone probably does!" forever if you want. Like, I just fail to believe people like that art other than to act cultured or hipsterish. which is 100% true.
Feb 12, 2016 Yeah i'm not 100% sure about the whole thing, but those albums that are like something cut out in photoshop s-----y, over a neon as f--- background with random s--- thrown in here and there. That s--- is f---ing death to my eyes and the people who make them are cancerous.
Feb 12, 2016 who decides what's bad or good then? Hmm? And what makes those peoples tastes who decided that 'objective'? You can't explain it. At all. Because it's not a thing. And of course you can't say it's legitimately the 'best', because again, that's applying objectivity where there is none. Tastebuds work in pretty much the same way I'm talking about here, and make an even more obvious comparison to what I'm saying about music. One person could eat a fancy 5 star meal and think it tastes horrible, because it legitimately does to them... would't make the food actually terrible, just means it's not their thing, in the same way someone could turn around and say the same about a mc donalds hamburger. It's because people have different tastes like this that there can't ever be an objective standard. The only thing this applies to with food is maybe from a health standpoint How? Once again, you've yet to explain how. And until you can actually do that Spoiler you're wrong You cannot prove this to be true tho, and there are most definitely people who do.
Feb 12, 2016 not reading a single word of this you should be embarrassed by your last few posts, esp if you call yourself an artist
Feb 12, 2016 So you're giving up on actually trying to explain or disprove a single thing I've said again? Gotcha.
Feb 12, 2016 you can't prove it to be false tho, and there are most definitely not people who like a singular splash of paint on canvas. nobody does. They can like it passively, through the ego boost they get from buying said piece, but the piece in itself, without the price tag and just a stand alone art piece, nobody likes it. It's the price tag that makes the piece.
Feb 12, 2016 @YoungDirtyBastard and @Caslon can go back to ethering you if they want im out for a while
Feb 12, 2016 Again, you can't prove that at all. You are not every single person and cannot fully understand or ever know why they might like something or if they really do or don't.
Feb 12, 2016 one more thing tho im the artist making thousands off my art because i understand the rules and use them to my advantage you're the one who's not making anything because you're too stubborn to admit that there are standards you're going to have to adhere to if you want to be an artist i'll leave you with that :^)
