    currently, i don't have any. but when i use to live with my mom, we had a cat and a bird.

    pets are great company, so i'm not surprised that people get so attached them

    that being said, if you're one of those people who spend more on your pet than yourself.....you're probably going overboard

    I had a dog for sixteen years. She was a labarador/retriever cross and outlived her lifespan by like seven years. GOAT animal.

    i feel you @Creation when we first got my dog he was so f---ing thin, could see his spine and all his ribs and he had bald patches all over him. he still doesn't like being near feet, i guess he'd been kicked a lot. i don't understand how people can mistreat animals so badly. all he ever wants to do is play ball. he's simultaneously the smartest and dumbest animal i've ever known

    Wow @Creation that was actually a really nice read. I'm glad you took that dog out of that h--- hole. People like that deserve to have the worst happen to them.

    @LasiK beautiful dog. have you had it since it was a pup?

    @nsd that dog looks so friendly. glad you took him out of a s-----y place as well

    Got a pure bred German Shepard. I was very hesitate with the asking price for German shepards but wife talked me into it and now were getting a 2nd one in a few months. I would pay it again in a heartbeat for my dog. Love him like family because he is family. I used to be one of those people that would shake my head at other pet owners and say to myself it's just a f---ing dog. Now I know. No bond like that bond that's created with your pet.

    2 dogs and 3 cats.

    We initially weren't going to get any more cats after our last ones died but these little balls of cuteness were stray and found trapped in a wall at work so how could I not adopt them?
    All of our pets are family, though like a true parent, I do have my favourites :emoji_wink:

    I hate animals, been around them my whole life. Only liked one pet out of all the ones I've had, it was my pure bred rottweiler i had for 2 years. Got her from the spca, she was found on the streets of Philly, was apparently a fight dog and breed dog, most obedient animal i have ever seen and very protective. Tounge had 3 slices in it along with her left ear and multiple scars over her body. I cried for like 3 days when we got rid of her when I was 9 years old and I've always hated animals so that says something.
