Dec 16, 2015 its crazy how even the haters are changing their mind. FLoka said he didn't like it and now its his favorite album of all time even the goat thona changed his mind
Dec 16, 2015 Why does Young Thug have to be mentioned in this thread. Barter 6 has nothing to do with TPAB, its not even an album...
Dec 16, 2015 it's very very rare when t Bdot from rapradar said the exact same thing... he said at first he wasn't that big on tpab but after a few listens he said it was miles ahead of gkmc.
Dec 16, 2015 d--- young thug catching a lot of hate for this list. I agree though, he has no business being on that list
Dec 16, 2015 Um the first two pages are entirely about barter 6. Because it was placed at #14 on the list in the OP. d--- I had no desire to revist TPAB since it dropped
Dec 16, 2015 You're kind of speaking for everybody here. I thoroughly enjoy Gil-Scott Heron and Nina Simone's political side. I find it hard to believe that there's some unknown part of me that is turned off because of these artist's black pride in 2015 as opposed just not being obsessed with their work on a musical level.
Dec 16, 2015 Where's he catching hate lol Most everyone in this thread seems to be happy with his placement
Dec 16, 2015 Yeah but homie, this is the Kendrick Lamar thread, not the barter 6 > TPAB thread. And it is on the list? I mean...its not even his first album, "Hiiitunes" will be...
Dec 16, 2015 probably talking about other forums and all, it is true that there's a lot of disagreement about Thug making the list
Dec 16, 2015 I think Thug deserved to be on that list. His stuff may not be for me, but if Andre 3000 & Elton John can dig it, I must respect it.
Dec 16, 2015 But no one is really talking about b6 being better than TPAB lol...just about it being on the list. I'm pretty sure even Mikey said "I like b6 more but kendrick deserves #1" There's nothing to really complain about here
Dec 16, 2015 yeah pretty much the same. I initially didn't enjoy tpab that much (even though I aknowledged it as the best album of the decade) but I've recently fallen in love with it. It's musical composition still leaves me speachless. At this point I find myself revisiting tpab more than any other kendrick project.
Dec 16, 2015 "I initially didn't enjoy TPAB (even though I acknowledged it was album of the decade)" Come ON guys
Dec 16, 2015 But this is the "Pitchfork has named to p---- a butterfly the album of the year" thread, not "Pitchfork releases its list, Kendrick at 1#, Young Thug at 14#, oh s---"
