Nov 15, 2017 There is literally no confirmation whatsoever. There has been one untrustworthy source that suggested it and every media avenue in the world started talking about it from there. Literally a snowball effect of a rumour. The only other tidbits we have is the Revival ad's end date and his appearance on SNL. Both of th we are theories at best. All that being said, I've been saying for over 6 months it will be a surprise release. So I'm still putting my money on Friday and will take my L graciously but I'm standing by my original theory.
Nov 15, 2017 Definitely an L for those expecting this. But I don't think it's really a legit L because nobody has ever confirmed or hinted this. HDD yes but who knows where they got that date or what it's for. They could have had a date for multiple things from some insider who wasn't sure what it was for and they're just speculating that it's the album drop date. The only possible way this is happening is if they release this digital-only. Which makes 0 sense because all of Em's sales are physical. So why would they do that? If it happens - I'll be shocked & amazed. But I severely doubt it will.

Nov 15, 2017 This is the only way it will happen. Interscope will push for this as it's the only way to stop leaks. Given Dre's affiliation with Apple it is a fair assumption to say that this will be an Apple exclusive for a week.
Nov 15, 2017 True... Thinking about it, they could have looked at what Jay-Z did - which is likely - as Em has mirrored a few of Jay's moves and is a Jay stan... And thought "we can make out like bandits, be as big as we want... and prevent 100% leakage before we want it out"... The more I think about that and like some behind the scenes big deal with Apple - the more that makes sense to me. At the end of the day all they give a s--- about is $$$ and Em's name brings a lot of $, so they could have made any deal they wanted. Plus it's weird that they still haven't officially acknowledged the album or said a date, after WoW has been out like 5 days. Every other time they confirm & mention the date with the single. So a different kind of drop must be happening for sure.
Nov 15, 2017 its not just like that. the hdd rumor came before the ad even started. then the ad came almost a month before the rumored release. then the snl performance fell a day after the rumored release. then the single dropped a week before the rumored release(as some of us who believed in that rumor was expecting). i mean its not just a rumor. too many coincidences that fit the date came in. plus they would k--- the rumors from the start as they did many times in the past.
Nov 15, 2017 beyonce dropped all the sudden. this rollout is more similar to jay's tho. kenny didnt gave us a date exactly and dre announced it a week before. im just sayin that big names did that before.

Nov 15, 2017 no we didnt.. we got the april the 7th in the heart song and it was the single date. i remember not knowing the date after that and people sh---ed on top cause they wanted news lol. plus they re both on aftermath/interscope and this makes sense to give like a week for the streams and then physicals. and dont forget that its not really a surprise release. the buzz for this album is going for like a straight month now

Nov 15, 2017 Just read that on April 7th they said the album will be out on the 14th. They made it for preorder on the 7th and the tracklist came out the week of release
