    Went to Semaphore Beach today and got a shitload of new Pokemon! Would've been nearly 4km that I covered I think all up. My two 2km eggs hatched but it was a Spearow and a Zubat. :scust:

    Considering the amount of GO players on here doing a fuckload of distance walking/accumulating, we could also do it for charity perhaps?

    Stole this idea from another forum, but Charity Miles let's you create a team to join and choose one of many charities to donate to. For whatever miles we walk/drive/bike etc, it'll raise money for our team to give to a charity.

    I created the "sectioneighty" team so if you guys are interested you can join up. We can also discuss what charity to choose as well.

    Just thought it'd be a good idea considering all the vested interest in Pokemon GO so far.

    ...guys, this really is a super mediocre game when it comes to graphics, bugs, navigation, expanding gameplay (we're really just repeating the same actions over and over and over), etc.. nobody really seems to care though. kinda wild.

    i wonder how much of the success has to do with the innovation in AR, versus the fact that it carries the big pokemon name?

    I was never into pokemon when I was young. I was in middle school when it came out and all my friends were into it. Never hated it or anything just not my thing. But this seems like a cool social thing to get into. I downloaded it cause some of my friends today are obsessed with this game. They're in their late 20s early 30s so I figured f--- it, I'll check it out. Caught 3 pokemon today and now out of pokeballs. Need to work on my swipe throwing. My Facebook is full of people bashing this game while they sit there using snapchat and play candy crush lol.
