I probably would be too if I had a unlimited data plan, in my late 20's now but I was in middle school when Pokemon first came out, spent countless hours on the original games Red/Blue/Yellow/Silver/Gold for GB, Snap and Stadium for N64, got up at 7am to watch the show before school, collected the cards, saw the first two movies in the theater, etc.

so many childhood memories

I also had the cards and saw the movies in theaters aha I was a little younger than you were though so maybe it didnt stick with me like that. I liked Yugioh as a kid more but now I can't see myself getting caught up in hype like this

Yeah I was in high school by the time Yugioh became a thing, so never really got into it aside from the cards a bit, there was a card store nearby that held weekly tournaments, bought all the best cards in the game off e-bay and would pretty much wreck everyone there with my deck, was a finalist nearly every time.

1st place got a bunch of free packs
