    bruhhhh i drove to/from work today with the app open and found that it doesn't increase your distance traveled for incubation if driving... it's smart enough to know that you're not walking or some s--- :emoji_neutral_face:

    I'm super late getting this so all my pokemon are weak AF....I cant battle because one hit and theyre dead -_-

    You sure it wasn't just the servers goofing? You have to actively have the app open and the phone on for it to clock your distance.

    100% I was even quickly grabbing some poke stops when I hit traffic n s--- (dumb, I know).. I was at 2.0km roughly on my 10km egg at start of day and it's at 3.8 now.

    Yup driving is a little too fast. I just creep to red lights and stop signs like 100 feet early and it helps out.

    CP is basically the Pokemon level in this.

    Also of course you have your own Level on the bottom left as well. The higher your level the better the Pokemon you encounter.

    Went out today with my older brother and we walk/drove around the inner suburbs for like 3km which took about one 1/2 hours. Went through like about 10+ Pokestops which was awesome and collected six eggs. Got 2.7km on my 5km egg at the moment. Caught like 12+ Pokemon but they were all shithouse. CP88 Pinsir was the pick of the bunch today. Also evolved my Pidgey into Pidgeotto.

    And had my data on the whole time and f---, it hardly used up much of my data! :weebey:

    My battery was f---ing s--- though. Went from 58 to 1 percent during my outing.

    And now I'm Level 5, Team Instinct >>>

    the only real negative about the app is how much it drains your battery, do you have power saver mode on?

    Yes and I turned off sound and music as well as downloading the offline maps from Google.

    I mean it's not too bad compared to my bro who went from 94 to like 17 in the same time frame.

    Google Maps > Offline Areas > Click on Plus sign to add maps.

    Each map is around 20-40mb, but it saves the GO app from having to constantly refresh the GPS maps.

    It sorta helps to conserve data and battery life.
