    its a super long process
    remind me sometime next week if you're that interested and I'll dig up the guide. I have freeshop which lets you download games right off of nintendo's servers. takes like 8 hours to set up, i did it over the course of a week.

    after initial setup it's super easy to get games though.

    check these, you needa 3DS with an acceptable firmware, if you don't have one you should be able to downgrade (though I'm not sure if you can on the latest firmware or not yet). Then it's a really easy process if you just follow the steps. Warning though, u can brick your 3DS if you f--- it up, and i think (but i'm not 100% sure) there's a very, VERY slim possibility of something just f---ing up on its own and bricking your system for you (see: making it as useful as a brick) but I did it with absolutely no issue. My biggest problem is that I used an 8 GB card and I should have used a 32-64 gb card. Make sure you have a good space memory card, I had to do a lot of jerryrigging and f---ing around with copying files to my computer that I wouldn't have had to do otherwise.

    like i said, it's maybe an 8-10 hour process. it takes ridiculously long. there's a lot of steps. it's been hackable for years, but I just tried to hack it myself this year before Color Splash came out on Wii U because i'm a paper mario fan boy and wanted to force myself to like sticker star before playing CS without actually paying for either
