Well this will be one-sided (rightfully so). Ab-Soul got me into Kendrick, actually; a friend of mine sent my his Longterm 2 mixtape, which was so fresh, and it featured Kendrick Lamar (the song was Turn Me Up, very good song). Around that time I listened to Look Out For Detox, which was dope, but didn't look for more of his stuff, like I did with Ab-Soul. Until he released S80 they were pretty close in my eyes (Kendrick's EP and OD were great, but I also liked Longterm Mentality). Then they released S80 and Control System, which were both great projects, and then Kendrick started dropping feature after feature, I came across tons of unreleased tracks, and until we reached GKMC his progress was really really impressive. Him and Ab-Soul were my favourites from TDE, easily, and then he drops GKMC while Soulo was keeping quiet, and then he came up with These Days, which was really mediocre, unfortunately.

I think these 2 are the most consistent from the Black Hippies, and I expect Soulo to bounce back and drop a good project when he's ready (his gf's death obviously affected him), but I don't think that he'll manage to come close to Kendrick again.

Having said that, I love all of their songs together: Moscato, Rapper s---, Turn Me Up, Ignorance, P&P, Illuminate, West Coast Wu-Tang... I'm probably forgetting some, but hey.

there was a TDE playlist on youtube thats where i heard turn me up ab souls got some wicked s--- but kendrick being signed to aftermath makes me value him more

Kendrick's projects are a lot stronger and Soulo is hit or miss on features.
