Jul 10, 2017 college as in high school/secondary or as in uni tier can we pls have ISO school terms soon ffs
Jul 10, 2017 also what kind of work needs a 4 year apprenticeship? 2 more years and you can apply for a master letter over here
Jul 10, 2017 too subjective to make blanket statements like this totally depends on the person tbr uni is a great experience although so many ppl waste their time & money there
Jul 10, 2017 College= university (where im from anyway). Just saying because a lot of people I know who are anti-unviersity, or what ever, didnt go them selves and it often seems in spite of the people attending higher education. Im the only person in my friend group who went to university and I allways get edgy comments from friends like "when are you going to get a job your wasting your time at uni ", "what are you gona do with that degree?" etc....they dont realize not evervody wants to be a trady and there are so many careers where university is the only place to start.
Jul 10, 2017 ye no im working rn but whenever this company goes well or under im probably getting a master or smthn, while doing freelance work on the side. uni can be a good thing i just think 18 years of education is wasted time in most professions, it should be more effective than that. uni itself isnt necessarily the root of it but a lot of them dont help at all
Jul 10, 2017 yeah I think the poll is referring to public colleges or something I don't know Don't go to college if you don't need to/can't afford to imo
Jul 10, 2017 what did you study?? Im doing my masters atm and if I work anymore than 10 hours a week I really start struggling with staying ontop of uni work
Jul 10, 2017 Protectionist and cinema manager. It was a fun job and reasonable pay (AUD$45k per year for 4-5 shifts per week)
Jul 10, 2017 I wasn't lucky i was just willing to work hard. Too many people come out of school and still expect everything to be handed to them
