Are we f---ing serious right now? Out-f---ing-Kast, goddammit! FOH! Eminem doesn't even come close. His catalog is among the worst around. Only two classics, one really great one, and the rest is just kind of forgettable.

The ONLY Eminem album I'm going to advocate for is the SSLP, and even that is a stretch. I feel SSLP is timeless. I don't think I overrate that album, by any means. It gets slighted a ton on here, even by f---ing Eminem fans. It should be the starting point for every Eminem fans' argument but they'd rather argue for The Eminem Show.

Like, 97 Bonnie and Clyde is something no rapper has ever done. From the tone, to the concept, to the content, to the characterization. It's a timeless record. Or even Guilty Conscience, where it tackles 3 different scenarios, each with humor, social commentary, wit and humor, a great/innovative beat, concept, everthing.

Those two records, I literally go "How the f--- did he come up with that?" That's the mark of a great artist, to me. SSLP is full of those moments, even today if I re-listen.

SSLP is as unpredictable and as creative as you can make an album, and Eminem fans just gloss over it. It's literally the album that made the hip hop community RESPECT Eminem.

I never f---ing listened to Eminem's albums for songs to connect with lmao. That only started at Eminem Show, I swear (and I only connect with SMALL portions of that album).

SSLP and MMLP only had a total of like 3 "emotional" songs, I believe. The rest were lyricism, story telling or conceptual writing. That's what made Eminem fun, and he lost that on Eminem Show. (By the way, I like Eminem Show, but SSLP is leagues above it).

Sorry, had to go off on a tangent for that album. Anyways..

But, even that gem (to me), it is NOT f---ing with Outkast's artistic innovation or discography.

I know Speakerboxxx and Love Below gets slighted in comparison to their earlier work, but that album was innovative, and it gave a completely new dimension to Andre. I saw you reference this earlier, and thank God you did.

Like, how can you listen from southernplayalistic to Love Below and not be amazed by Andre's transformation as an artist? That's f---ing insane to me. What rapper has done that?

I think Outkast is the best act ever.

Outkast could come out with an album next month, and I guarantee it would be ground breaking and be close to, if not, a certified classic. They're one of the VERY few acts in hip hop history to continuously revamp their style, album to album, at a top notch level. I can only think of Kanye's production, or Jay Z's ability to move with the times, as key examples of this. Outkast, though, innovate the sound of hip hop AND flow AND lyricism.

Like... LMFAO @ this comparison. This is embarrassing.

tl;dr SSLP is an album I'd advocate for, but Outkast's discography kills it. Outkast wins.
