    traditional norwegian food 101:

    Norway: "OH ITS >insert s-----y holiday no1 cares about<!! BETTER k--- ONE OF OUR ANIMALS AND EAT IT"
    Literally everywhere else in the world: "Aren't u gnna slaughter it first? Like you know.. Filet the meat or something"
    Norway: A what now??? Nah I'll just cook it whole who gives a f---
    Everyone else: Um.. Spices? Salt? Sauce? No?
    Norway: DONE!

    seriously the only naturally growing type of spice we have is juniper

    AND WE COULDNT EVEN FIGURE OUT HOW TF TO MAKE GIN

    i swear to god any1 clinging to old norwegian food traditions are complete r-----s
