Jul 29, 2015 Let me preface this post by letting everyone know i'm a stan. With all of the pop-esque singles Em has had (LTWYL, Monster, KND, etc) - let's not forget that bicycle song, and the song with pink (here comes the weekend). Anyways, with his latest big effort being the Southpaw soundtrack, and the freestyle being promo for that... Where does he get off saying.. "and I give a f--- about sales, and f--- pop, I don't even like refreshments" My stan mind runs wild in hopes that he's hinting that his next project will go back to his "roots" and have no poppy collabs, but that's reaching.
Jul 29, 2015 well if you haven't noticed the new theme is "wow i checked the internet and saw how much everyone hates me i better do what they say" so yes, next album will have slow flow
Jul 29, 2015 LTWYL was a song a about domestic abuse Rihanna fit the theme which is why he chose ther. The song blew up but so did Stan people didnt say Stan was pop music Em dont care about album sales its the label
Jul 29, 2015 he's at the end of his career. just trying to make as much cash as possible and probably label pressure. there are things that bother me more. like the s-----y flow. awkward pauses. no beat. randomly pronouncing words with higher pitches or different enunciation than the word that comes prior or proceeds it.
Jul 29, 2015 the verses in LTWYL and Monster are perfect.. flow, delivery and lyrics. I get the hate though cause of the hooks. Its like he tries harder and does better when he knows a song will blow up.
Jul 29, 2015 Hopefully he listens to his fans and actually slows it down, as good as rap god the song was it did harm to eminem post mmlp2. But what do I know.
Jul 29, 2015 refreshments are essential that free coffee, free pastries, free cookiesf--- yes my n-----, give me all of those
Jul 30, 2015 I hope you're right. In the NY Times interview he at least seemed cognizant people aren't feeling the fast rhyme as much as possible s---.
Jul 30, 2015 He's old and full of s---. Half-hearted disses and gestures is all Eminem has left. He'll talk about not giving a f---, but we all know it's not true anymore.
Jul 30, 2015 How can his label pressure him? He does what he wants and they will agree with it. I think it's Paul who is brainwashing him to do stupid s---.
Jul 30, 2015 it's not really like that man. the label is still your boss at the end of the day. i think the only thing eminem cares about these days is remaining lyrical while still attempting to please the label. they know he's a cash cow. he knows he's a cash cow. i just don't think he cares anymore but still wants to be a respected lyricist.
Jul 30, 2015 They want me to flip at the label, but I won't succumb to it The pressure, they want me to follow up with a Nother one after Recovery was so highly coveted But what good is a f---in' Recovery if I fumble it?
Jul 30, 2015 Well you see, The label (illuminati) force him to do these poppy singles or else his family pays.
