Aug 1, 2015 I believe Eminem still has the ability to put out quality music but the production imo is having no connection with Eminem, it's almost as if he's just pasted his lyrics on an already structured song and hoped for the best. I think the feature hooks don't work the majority of the time because I can't see a connection or a blend and just like I said before that it's like the whole song wasn't created together I personally think that Eminem needs to stop using ready made beats and work with people who will create and structure a song with him and that's when we will start to hear better quality music Even though his flow is an issue I also think this is just as big of an issue What do you think?
Aug 1, 2015 That's what I've always said. I feel like he just uses whatever lyrics he wants for whatever beat and forces it to fit.
Aug 1, 2015 i mean, yeah, that's almost always a recipe for bad music, but there are songs on mmlp2 that were clearly made specifically for him and those were mostly awful too

Aug 1, 2015 I remember when rumors first started flying about Eminem working with outside producers. I was so pumped at the idea of an Eminem song over a crazy Timbaland beat. Looking back now however makes me think this would have been a terrible song. Dre's steady rhythms really helped Em develop a grove with his flow. As soon as he started rapping over all these mainstream sounding beats with the 808's and rapid high hats his style got all choppy and awkward. As far as Just Blaze's work with Eminem, I wish he would have just said, "Listen, I know my s---. Shut the f--- up and let me send you a dozen beats I think will work." Just Blaze could have been an awesome combo with Eminem, but all those beats sound like Eminem wanted something other then the dark epic types Blaze is so good at. The music is technically good, but far too light hearted and goofy sounding for me.
Aug 1, 2015 Yeah this is a massive issue with him these days. Kings Never Die is a great example. I don't mind the hook on it as it actually suits the song but with a better beat it could of had so much more reply value than it does have.
Aug 1, 2015 a------, So Far.., Almost Famous, 25 TO LIFE and many more new em songs have had good lyrics and could of been atleast a 8/10 but the beat and hook sucks. 25 To Life beat may s--- but it's still goat
