Aug 8, 2015 So many good songs on this album, the ones i keep coming back to are All In a Day's Work It's On Me Animal Darkside/Gone Loose Cannons Talking To My Diary Satisfiction ......... .... f--- it, there are too many good tracks. There isn't one single ''bad'' song. This album might not have that one classic song, but it's filled with a bunch of good music. It's a really consistent album, is all i can say.
Aug 8, 2015 If you're listening to this album through your computer speakers boy are you missing out. Throw this in the whip PLEASE, but be careful I almost crashed listening to Genocide today
Aug 8, 2015 d--- just realized kendrick's verse on 'deep water' is from the bonus verse he performed at the BET awards...pretty cool.

Aug 8, 2015 It says Craig Owens is one "One Shot, One k---" Yet, his voice is nowhere to be found... or did he play an instrument or help produce?
Aug 9, 2015 wow, that's dope. I just noticed Stat Quo had some involvement with the album too. He helped with Game's track "Just Another Day"
Aug 9, 2015 First listen gets a 2/10 honestly. Short review: production is dated, completely relying on nostalgia from the r/RealHipHop crowd. Everything on this album production-wise can and has been done better. The features are embarrassment and a testament to the power of Beats by Dre. People are showing up on this album because of contractual obligations and it shows. You really think any Kendrick verse on here says anything that he hasn't already said on To p---- a Butterfly? Jesus, don't get me started on the barely-there Snoop features and the cringeworthy Xzibit feature. Is this real hip hop? Being half a century old and still trying to do skits that 2001 Eminem would cringe at? Oh wait he's here too? Not surprising. It's like the meme rap crowd hears Kendrick doing his aggressive voice and claims VERSE OF THE YEAR on the spot, without listening to the substance (very in line with the reactions of To p---- a Butterfly). Quit memeposting for one second and realize this is the followup to The Chronic and Chronic 2001. This is an album by a man who has not lived in Compton for 25 years, longer than you have been alive. This is an album by a media mogul and is the personification of a man depleting his testicles onto a 100 dollar bill and wiping it on your face, then taking the 100 dollar bill back.
