Yep, i know plenty of people who defend relapse like this, to be fair though, it is definitely a concept album and has some good ideas to it, but the 'raping women' lines arent the parts that make it worse, the concept still doesnt explain the accents or the lack of content... If he was going to make a serial killer album he should've explored more parts of a killer's ideas and life, rather then just the torturing and raping women parts....

Exactly. It's a very loose excuse, imo. It's a concept. Like-- he's relapsing, he's on drugs....that's it. lmao.

The beats are cohesive and nice, too. It's conceptual.....sorta, I guess.

But from there on, it's all blown out of proportion. You can not convince me there is any real rhyme or reason, any real underlying purpose behind Relapse as a whole. The accent? The content (or major lackthereof?)? They are just enigmas. Random nonsense.

Whoever let him do that for an entire album should be smacked.

Kanye is overall a better artist to me, he's not just a better producer, but a better composer, a better director, and a better philosopher when it comes to music, but you're right that eminem can make more words rhyme with each other more than kanye.....

2pac, kendrick, drake, big, and j cole werent JUST about rhyming words though, they were also about subject matter and philosophy, though i do think eminem > drake or j cole, because i think he also had better subject matter and philosophy, but kanye is much better at this then em
