Sep 6, 2015 But to answer the question, yes I think Eminem is relevant, especially whenever he announces his new album. That being said, the reason his name isn't plastered everywhere anymore is because he now lives under a rock. Kanye for example is still jumping on stage saying stupid ish to get publicity.
Sep 6, 2015 His new songs dont get the attention of what someone like Justin Bieber or Taylor swift would get
Sep 6, 2015 I do believe he is becoming irrelevant but that means nothing cause i and millions others still love him. The point of it all is, is that its impossible unless he makes some kind of song that hits the kids. Like a song that would have to be very relevant and relatable. For example something about bullying or the way todays kids are. Or of course if something that was enjoyable enough to listen to at a party or in public. I mean it can still happen berzerk gets played at all my school events almost, but i could be wrong of course as guts over fear was good but not that big unfortunately. Just my opinion.
Sep 6, 2015 So you're saying soundtrack songs dont get attention ?[/QUOTE] ^^^very true. Let's not forget about Lose Yourself.
Sep 6, 2015 incorrect, im saying his album singles n tracks are what do. just wait for his next album and youll see eminem wont become irrelevant lmao, even if he did he had a long a--- career and his songs would pass on generations 500k in 2015 isnt trash... look at what kenny sold first week..324k... one of the biggest rappers now sold 324k 500k isnt trash at all... are you trolling?
Sep 6, 2015 now we are talking... and i agree with that though thats not what you said.. you only stated the number was trash when Kendrick lamar couldnt even do those.:ortonlaff: em will sell 600-700k easy next album, he has that global impact, people seem to forget. "new eminem SOLO album" is all it takes to blow up social media sites. all the new fans, all the old fans, etc. h--- i know lots of older aged people who would buy it soley because of the name, theres a reason for that. eminem is huge.
Sep 6, 2015 No but you see the point im trying to make. His slowly becoming less and less talked about & considering the internet is the worlds go to thing.
Sep 6, 2015 that will happen with everyone though, thats the thing.. everyone fades, when me n you die.. in 100 years nobody will know us lmao, but im willing to bet (if the worlds not drastically different n theres no more music) that people will know of em.
Sep 6, 2015 Eminem is very relevant. There's still articles about him and what his lyrics caused to this day. You say he's irrelevant when he's under his rock but once he's in the public eye, he still affects us one way or another
