Sep 11, 2015 So after Releasing Compton, Dre said he is done releasing solo albums. So... Do you guys think that he Deleted those "20-40" Possible Detox tracks and deleted the 400+ Recorded tracks that were +Possibly+ for Detox? If not, do you guys think we will ever hear them in any form? (not counting the ones that already leaked Topless, I am Hip-Hop, Mr. Prescription, etc) I, Like many others on this forum, would still like to hear the many incarnations of Detox.. Only time will tell. Maybe as a special apple release someday?
Sep 11, 2015 I hope he decides to post it as a free album on sound cloud. Never gonna happen but that would be amazing. You know there has to be some classic songs on there as well as some bangers. Hopefully it leaks because I would really like to hear it.
Sep 11, 2015 Yeah man I agree. I think it was Focus.. who said there was a Track that was Dre Ft Em, Game and Nate Dogg on it from 2004. I would love to hear that.
Sep 11, 2015 D.O.C's voice is getting better apparently. Chad Daddy would like to find out if nobody could do it better.
Sep 11, 2015 I feel like we'll eventually get the Detox Sessions. I mean, we got the SMiLE Sessions for Christ's sakes it isnt much of a stretch that we'd eventually hear some of Detox.
Sep 11, 2015 The Beach Boys, was supposed to be their follow-up to Pet Sounds (one of the greatest albums ever made and played a huge influence on modern music) but due to infighting between the band, bandleader Brian Wilson's deteriorating mental health, inflated budgets, people leaving the project, and a whole sort of other problems, was never formally released. In terms of how much hype it had, it was the original Detox. I really recommend looking into the story of the album as it's 100x more interesting than whatever backstory Detox had.
Sep 11, 2015 I did a review on it on the forums here if you want to check that out too: https://forum.sectioneighty.com/a-look-back-at-smile-the-beach-boys-classic-that-never-was.t40744/
