Sep 9, 2015 Em and Fred did another song together too called "Turn Me Loose." I had always wondered if there was a planned EP or something a la that first BME project.
Sep 11, 2015 lol Our House was meant for MMLP? It doesn't sound like it at all, I mean his voice on MMLP sounds way more matured, even Under The Influence does
Sep 11, 2015 Sounds like a transition between SSLP and MMLP. The hook sample is great. If this song wasn't released, imagine what other tracks they keep in the vault.
Sep 23, 2015 Our House was recorded January 16th, 1999. I'm pretty sure it leaked toward the very end of 99 from what I remember. I tried for a long time to find a better quality version of it, or even any information on who leaked it, but no luck. Perhaps someone could try tracking down the interviewer from Spin magazine that was in the studio when the track was being worked on. I doubt he would have the song, but you never know, and it's always worth a shot. Turn Me Loose is another mystery. I was told it was from a very rare advanced copy of Limp Bizkit's album, but I've never seen any proof of that. These two songs have always annoyed me since I'm very OCD when it comes to the quality of songs in my collection and both of these leaked versions have problems. At least Turn Me Loose is only a minor skip during Em's verse... Quitter was leaked through P2P programs towards the end of 2000. There was an explicit version and a clean version leaked, unfortunately the explicit version was only the first 5 minutes or so of the song. The scene group WHOA reversed the cuss words on the clean leak and pre'd it, but you can obviously tell it was edited. There is a version floating around that appended WHOA's edit to the end of the legit explicit version. I kept it because it's probably the only copy of the song we'll have from a digital source, but you're still probably better off going with the vinyl rip of the song.
Sep 23, 2015 I don't doubt it. The quality is so bad on the song that I'm pretty sure the original source of the leak intentionally degraded the quality.
