Mar 24, 2015 Dame Dash and Kanye West are moving on to their next joint endeavor. After collaborating as executive producers on the film Loisaidas, Dash and West are now interested in purchasing online retailer Karmaloop. During a recent episode of Hip Hop Motivations with Kenyatta Khari, Dash says, "Me and Kanye are gonna buy Karmaloop, so you'll probably feel that by the time this is out." The streetwear e-commerce site filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this week and, according to its founder, Greg Selkoe, there are "many high-profile" investors interested. Selkoe recently confirmed to the Boston Business Journal that West and Dash are indeed targeting the site. "We've spoken to a bunch of different people," Selkoe said. "We've heard from them [Kanye, Dame] and others ,too. There's a lot of interest in Karmaloop and we consider that a good thing." It also appears Dash is also upset with Marc Ecko and Complex. Shortly after he mentions placing a bid for Karmaloop with Kanye, Dash goes on to say – in the HipHopMotivation interview – that he and West are going to go after Complex. "I'm gonna put Complex out of business for f---ing with me," he says. "I don't like them. It's a war between me and them. We're going to do that. Me and Kanye are going to snatch that up real quick."
Mar 27, 2015 Dame Dash has a net worth of -$2 million. Kanye would be better off buying with one of you guys.

Sep 30, 2015 I'm glad Kanye and Dame didn't buy Karmaloop for a number of reasons. The first being the obvious. The company was in so much debt that to bail it out would be almost impossible without filing for bankruptcy. $100 million is a LOT of money. Dame Dash has basically been black balled from the industry. He is a really bright entrepreneur but the way he conveys messages and talks down to people is unbareable. It is sad to see Karmaloop fall off like that. I remember back when the company was doing $200 million in sales and had all the good quality brands like 10 Deep, WeSC, Kanati Co, Herschel Supply Co, Rothco etc. They've still got a lot of brands listed - http://www.karmaloop.com/brands - but aren't carrying even close to that much. I saw an interview with the new CEO. Seth Haber, saying he has been on the phone daily begging brands to come back. Guess we will see. They left $100 million worth of pissed off people behind them.
