Yeah, they could be tied for first place tonight but that means very little once December comes around. Also, yeah, they can beat the Giants next week (I hope they do) it's a divisional game. Divisional games (especially in the NFC East) are so unpredictable. With that being said though, they have yet to string together back to back wins. Bradford came into this week ranked as the 23rd best QB in the league by pro football focus. Their O Line has continued to struggle, especially the interior O Line which has made it hard for them to run the football consistently. On defense their secondary has struggled A LOT. So far they've won two turnover filled games & against more disciplined teams I don't think they'll be as fortunate. They still have to play each of their division opponents at least one more time (Giants twice) which are much more important now since they are already 0-2 within the division. They still have competitive teams like the Bills, Cardinals, & Patriots on their schedule. Unless Bradford & their O Line can do a full 360 & start playing some good football, I can't see them winning the division. Out of all the teams in the division, they have looked the worst & really haven't shown any type of consistency.

Oh believe me everyone in Michigan is already preparing for that. The question is though, what position should we be looking to draft? Do they make a huge move and try to replace Stafford? Do they try to build the line? Get a good linebacker or corner/safety? I honestly don't know with this team. I don't watch much college football since i work all day Saturdays so i don't know who the big name players are

I actually forgot who they played the last few weeks I didn't get to watch them because of work. Was all excited to watch the steelers today with Vick playing then find out they play the chargers tomorrow. Congrats on that patriots site job. You ever want a quick grammar check send me the information.

But yeah secondary education seems to be my passion in college, thus far. My grades went up severely after quitting drinking and mixing with pills and I enjoy helping some younger people out with mainly English. I don't get paid for it but looks good on the resume. Definitely been the best semester academic wise but feeling soft not partying as hard. But ehh, getting old. This isn't SL when I'm blackout drunk threatening people in the sports section lol.

Ok, but yeah bro, Dalton is not the qb I would want going into the playoffs. They will never make a Super Bowl appearance with Dalton as their qb.

I don't think i can defend Stafford anymore either. Sure, his line is uglier than a Master P sneaker and Joe Lombardi has the offensive football IQ of a toddler, but Stafford also makes such terrible decisions sometimes its aggravating

he seems like a capable QB. but it also seems like he can't go too long without making a critical error. maybe not in every game, but more often than not he seems to make that big mistake that ends up really hurting the lions chances of winning.

i figured the lions would drop off a bit due to some of the key players they lost on defense, but i never imagined they'd start 0-5. the reason i never pictured this is because it seems like they still have some good pieces on offense, but i guess they just aren't clicking.

if its any consolation, our division as a whole doesn't look too good. the bears aren't good and my vikings are doing OK....but they've gotta play a lot better if they wanna make things interesting with GB.

I never called Cincy phonies but I don't get what you're trying to say here..They can go 16-0 for all I care but the idea I and many have of them is a good regular season team that never goes anywhere in the playoffs, so until they actually win a playoff game it doesn't really change what I think about them. Plus the Seahawks even when they're at their best are not nearly as good on the road, and so far this year they obviously aren't at their best. I felt like the game was a toss up going into it.

*edit* or maybe I did call them phonies at some point, not sure tbh...

If they could get the 1st pick and trade Stafford for multiple picks it might be wise for them to start over. It's a tough spot. I think Stafford is capable. But they need another superstar on offense besides Megatron. Whether that be a running back, tight end, or another receiver.

I remember there used to be a Lions fan on SL who told me Stafford was just as good as Romo if not better lol forgot who though.

Anyways, if this niner team can just keep playing hard, they should be able to win this. They need to get some sort of pressure on Eli tho.
