Oct 14, 2015 This was found on Reddit: RODEO film is wrapping up editing atm, it was filmed last year (directed by NABIL) but was delayed countless times and eventually shelved partway through editing because a decision was made to wait till rodeo came out before finishing and releasing it. despite it being a Rodeo film....ye and travis did a soundtrack for it while they were both working on rodeo at the same time. its only about 11 or 12 songs iirc not including instrumentals, im not in a place where i can just pull it up, but yea thats pretty close. its short but the songs are pretty f---ing long, it was played for us like two weeks ago and it lasted about an hour and ten minutes. film due for release in November, soundtrack prolly a week later (apple music i think??). drake, PND & thug are the only features. future got cut a long time ago, big sean gave SIX FEET UNDER to ye for the scrapped Y2 film, eventually it landed on the rodeo film soundtrack but all his verses got cut.. tyler the creator mike & ye produced something for it back in may. as for S.W.I.S.H. (yes that is and probably always will be the album title) theres now nothing preventing it from getting finished. The reason for the long delay was bcause kanye thought he was close enough to wrapping up his album so he took a break to work on rodeo and what eventually became the soundtrack to the rodeo film. also rih's album. now that everythings off the table he can completely finish it. was originally supposed to be out around Glastonbury but that prediction fell through like many others. he wants it out by winter so once he gets back in the studio sometime this month the pace should pick up. the album was techinically done in february, but because of his break he was afraid to put it out because he wanted to ensure that he was completely ok with every song. a few songs got cut (the original tracklist was 20 songs and ye was adamant about no filler because art or something) and sent to other artists, almost every song this year featuring kanye was intended for s.w.i.s.h., the album is 14 tracks now but will probably end up being 13 because all day might be a bonus track, even tho it took 2 years to finish, it isn't fitting with anything else on the album. cruel winter is scrapped, everything was pretty rushed and didn't work so everything from it evneutally landed on their own albums or features. still might happen in the future but the original version is definitely scrapped.
