He got off to a really good start and looked amazing but as the season went on you could see him wearing down. Didn't he have hip surgery last summer? I doubt he was able to have his regular offseason regimen so I'm not surprised how he ended the season. Looks like he's coming into this season in great shape and I'm expecting big things from him.

I don't mind the 3 on 3 because it is exciting but it's just another gimmick just like the shootout was when it was brought in.

3 on 3 is great it gives more room on the ice and a better chance of scoring a goal or a team f---ing up on a line change.resulting in a goal. I hate shootouts tbh

I usually take the player bashing when guys leave with a grain of salt, but the word was Dougie and Reilly Smith had alienated themselves in the Bruins locker room and Dougie didn't want to be in Boston any more.

And I've been waiting for him to take that next step as a legit top pairing D but it hasn't come and I'm not sure it ever will.

Story came out the other day that he wanted the Bruins to sign his brother and refused to re-sign after they didn't.

Bruins have been a pleasant surprise since the AWFUL first 3 games. They don't have the personnel for Claude's "pack it in" style anymore. The new "run and gun" style of play has allowed Krejci and Eriksson to play their game.

R.I.P. Connor McDavid, not surprised in his 13th game right after Halloween against the Flyers something happens. A shame this happened right before his first match-up against Crosby.

So yeah I've been watching every Wild game but I feel this thread is so dead it's not even worth discussing things in here really, hopefully it can be at least semi-active in time for the playoffs but if I remember right it wasn't too active last year.

We need more hockey fans.
