    More like a mixtape.
    It's not about how many tracks are on the album it's about how many minutes the tracks add up to.

    A song under 10 minutes is a single, an EP is over 10 minutes but under 40, and an LP is over 40 minutes and can go up to 80 since that's all a CD can hold. So if there are 10 tracks but they don't exceed 40 minutes overall then it's an EP.
