    Now, go tell her how you really feel about her, and your relationship, also tell her to keep in mind that you two have a son and fights between you two will only hurt him long-term, at least keep it down in front of him.

    if it was me, I would us the term "we" instead of "you". it sounds like you're in it together and not pointing fingers. hope that makes sense..
    if you go to counseling that's where each of you bring up what you feel about eachother

    we just talked and she promises to come back after 2 days.. but i cant contact her at all during that time. makes no sense. sick of playing games.

    Didn't read the whole thread, but you didn't let her wear the make-up she wanted to? That's kinda controlling in my book... I can see that that she got tired of you controlling her looks (if that's the case).

    But anyway, hope it works out for you! This seems like a pretty dumb fight to give up two years of an relationship over

    Nah I dont mean to be a douche about it but that promise don't mean s--- if she doesn't want any kind of contact with you during those 2 days. In other words she could be out getting a train ran on her and you wouldn't know.

    Yea it means she wants her space and think about things. Maybe she's afraid he'll try to talk her out of it when a little time apart is all she needed. If she comes back after a day cause he convinced her they'll just be back to where it went wrong. If she thinks he is controlling, then going against her wishes might be the worst thing to do.

    been better.. i agreed to her terms but its hard. if i knew for sure she was coming back then it would be easier.

    question for you guys.. do you go through your partners phone? do you think its wrong that i do? if theres nothing to hide whats the problem? its not that i dont trust her.. she thinks i dont but i do.

    It's not just any reason tho. Besides the controlling thing she also thinks he works too much :jordan: So if he spends most of his time at work and she thinks the time he does spend with her he is being controlling then it's a problem. I'm just going off of what @JMG has told us tho. I don't know if there's more to it.

    It depends, I guess. Is there a reason for you to go through it? I only go through her phone if I wanna look at a picture she took earlier or if I need someone's number or need to look something up and my phone is dead or at home.

    How often do you go through it and why?

    except i do know and theres no chance of that.. shes the mother of my child and is not the type of person that would do that if even she was single. thanks for your advice but id prefer if only adults answered, thanks.

    theres no reason.. if its out like on the couch next to me i pick it up and just see what shes been up to. she seems to think that means im checking up on her.. its really just a curiosity thing. i do understand why it might be wrong but if there is nothing to hide then why care?

    Because her messages is private, especially if you trust her. Things like checking your significant others phone seems really suspicious and controlling from her perspective, even if you don't mean any harm.

    The way @Mano uses his gf's phone is way more "innocent" and acceptable. He doesn't do it to check what she's been up to, or look around in any of her private things.

    Understand what I mean? I don't know if you read her messages, but that's what I got from your post.

    I guess it's more about the vibe you give off by doing it. There's nothing to hide but I get why she feels like you're looking for something
