Two of the biggest East coast albums. Which one do you like more?

they both had like the same amount of hits so idk
Ready to die (one more chance, juicy, big poppa, suicidal thought)
Illmatic (N.Y. state of mind, the world is yours, one love, it aint hard to tell)

But I mean biggies hits were bigger, but then again Nas spoke to me more with his songs so illmatic!

Illmatic is better, but Ready To Die is a masterpiece as well.

I listened to RTD all the way through for the first time in about a year the other day and I forgot how absolutely timeless it sounds front-to-back.

Illmatic sounds a bit "dustier" just because it's so quintessentially New York, but that's not a knock at it in the slightest. It's virtually perfect.

Dusty isn't always an insult. Illmatic is sort of a period piece. Has the power to take you back to that era, even if you didn't live it. RTD is soooo fresh. So fresh.

One of the hardest polls to date.. I can't decide. Both are classics and both I listen to quite frequently

Illmatic really introduced me to hip-hop. Before that I was a casual fan, but after hearing Illmatic, it inspired me to listen to more than modern Hip-Hop.
