Nov 13, 2015 Song is good dude! Would just watch on the mixing on the vocals, something sounds like its clouding the enunciation a bit - could be EQing, doubles not being 100% right on. One thing I do when mixing rappers with lower voices is setting a send before any inserts and high passing the h--- out of that. Then De-ess the s--- out of the original and mix in the send until it evens out, I find it keeps compressors/EQ/reverb from effecting enunciation/presence of the vocals
Nov 13, 2015 thanks bruh bruh well there's no doubles, only a libs so don't think that's the issue. my voice is naturally pretty deep and when I mastered it, I raised the lows on the EQ again to allow more bass prescience on the song. so it couldddd be an EQ issue. I used to use de essers back in the day but now that I sort of got the hang of using the mutiband compressor, I don't really need it at all
Nov 14, 2015 it's mainly the LQ sound of the beat, and that CLAP that's reaaaaaaaaaaaaally loud and out of place. overall I actually dig the beat
