Nov 18, 2015 First thanks @Koolo for being respectful critic, yes this is what we want. I agree Eminem ruined this song, it would've been classic without many stupid lines as you mentioned. This is why I prefer When I'm gone and Mocking bird over Headlights, it had a potential to match those songs. Not defending Marshall, but he might wrote these corny lines to make it fit his syllables and rhyme scheme, which is very stupid idea.
Nov 18, 2015 Just to play devils advocate: He made the song because he did forgive her and wanted to apologize for what he's done and said about her but he's at a point where he has no desire to have an actual relationship with her.
Nov 18, 2015 Song could've been better but it's still a good song. The only line I agree with about being lazy/awkward is cause you're my ma other than that everything is fine. Funny because I remember how @Koolo praised the living s--- out of the song as well as saying how real the hamburger line was on SL. At least he admits he enjoys the song and isn't denying it.

Even the examples u gave were poor. Because u know simple but effective writing is best. Now i know u are no stan when u say Bad Meets Evil album was terrible that is u being honest, genuine and realistic. When u played a role in leading the let the fans down movement after the Bad Meets Evil album that was genuine, that was your real feelings on an awful album This thread is u being PC to the M.I.C's, Narshs, Swizz Which is funny to me Koolo because they only hate these popular Eminem songs because of their popularity and because females especially young females go crazy over them. Things like this causes some guys to get insecure so that leads them to hate the songs and Em in general U know this fam but as i said just playing devil's advocate here
