Refs are people though. Sometimes they make s-----y decisions in the moment and you can tell they know they f----- up because they end up counterbalancing the s-----y decision with another s-----y decision in the opposite direction soon after (usually in the next big fight lol). Like if they call off a fight too soon, their next one goes too long or vice versa.

UFC 195 card(January 2nd) is official. Surprised to see Duffy/Poirier on Fight Pass. I guess they wanted to give back to the fans when Duffy pulled out of the main event in Dublin.

He could be back in the picture if they don't give him the grinders like Hendricks, Woodley, Maia(or even Rory although he doesn't fight that way any more). If Rory were to somehow get the belt, I think the UFC would let Condit skip the line for that rematch.

These next 2 HW fights are big(JDS/Reem & Arlovski/Miocic). They both can be looked at as #1 contender fights. JDS would get the next shot with a win and Werdum win you would think. If Cain wins and JDS wins then it would go to the winner of Miocic/Arlovski. If Reem wins and Werdum wins then that's another rematch they can do that Werdum has lost(although Werdum has lost to Arlovski as well).

Either way it's gonna be fun to see HW shakes out, most MMA fans were kinda bummed about that Cain/Werdum immediate rematch but once 196 gets here that should change.

Was in the middle of this post talking about Bisping/Mousasi looking like the London main event, despite MacDonald/Lombard rumors and then the Anderson Silva news came out. I'm not mad about it though. Putting Poirier vs Duffy(was supposed to headline Dublin card in October) on the 195 fight pass prelims was a strong statement that they are pushing Fight Pass, but this takes it to a new level.

The rumors were Silva vs Belfort 2 for UFC 197 in Brazil on March 5th. There was a RDA vs Khabib 2 rumor for 197 last night but I guess Dana shot that down. My guess is it's RDA vs Ferguson as I don't think he UFC has the balls to send McGregor to Brazil to fight RDA on this short of notice.
