Dec 29, 2015 2006, i was 6 years old when i heard actually 50 Cent - In Da Club then i liked 50 Cent then on a 50 track which I don't remember Em was on, i kinda liked Eminem (like Dre, didn't know he's white) then i stopped listening to rap cause i was underage, then i was going to school with my brother he had Not Afraid and Lose Yourself on a USB, he turned them on I didn't like Not Afraid, but when i came back from school that day i opened my brother's laptop and searched for Eminem on YouTube and knew he's white and actually got The Way I Am at the top (i always play the first video in YouTube) i was like, that s--- is dope, then i downloaded it and played it over 1000000000000000 times, and then got the whole MMLP (2014) and now I'm a HUGE FAN, Oh, MMLP2 the only song that got my attention is Groundhog Day, g.d. I. LOVE. EMINEM (BTW, I got punished for taking the laptop)
Dec 30, 2015 I see a lotta great stories. How bout we keep this quality up. So to the teenagers : Your introduction to him was a dark-haired Em and you found out about "Slim Shady" later ? I find that really interesting. @Luke @RockstarX3000 @Vivi @M80 what's your favorite album ?
Dec 30, 2015 I first heard em back in early 2000s cant remember exactly which year. It was a bad time for me i was badly depressed and had ended up overdosing. I heard when in gone and it all meant something to me, if that makes sense. Em writes from the heart and bears his soul in his lyrics, its all meaningful and i think he's just so special. He's unique and very misunderstood. A lot of older people don't get him at all, and that's a shame because if they really listened to what he was saying they may be pleasantly surprised. Ems a legend..
Jan 2, 2016 I don't even know, I can't remember I was too young. My earliest moments where listening to Cleaning Out My Closest in the car on the way home back from school, because we had the CD.

Jan 2, 2016 Dear God some of you people can't even legally vote yet. In 1999 I was at my Grandma's playing video games in the back room and she saw one of the neighborhood boys outside and hollered for him to come in and meet me. He did and he showed me TRL where I saw the "My Name Is" video. I had no idea how much that day would change my life. That same guy and I would end up becoming a rap duo and I still make music to this day. In fact, I was one of the groomsmen at his wedding. I suppose it being the same day I met him is why I remember it being the same day I first heard Eminem.
Jan 6, 2016 I never really posted here, but i love writing and expressing my opinion ( xD ) so here goes. So year is 2009 (for sake of information im 18 and half now) and we just got high speed internet and some kind of "cable TV" sth like that. It was around summer and unfortunatly MJ passed away. My sister took a closer look and really got into his music. She really wanted more people to get behind her new-found love so me and her friends were targets. Whenever I came from school this music channel was on and she wouldnt stop asking me to join her in listening MJs music. I didnt mind it, his music was incredible and soon I started listening and by myself tunning in on that channel and listening it myself. Around that time my grandfather passed away and he left his house to my dad and it really was in need of care. So, every saturday we would drive for about 45 min. and did all kinds of things...and sometimes it was quite boring. xD One day when we returned that specific channel was on and there was no MJ on it, but instead it was music video for "We Made You". Truth be told...i didnt understand jack s---. I am from Croatia and only english i knew was from school and GTA SA. But sth just pulled me into his music. I dont know what it was, but i guess his presence, the beat, and really funny music video, well at least for a teenage boy. And of course Lisa Ann...gotta be her. :D Remember that high speed internet i was talking about? Well research i did, and o boy that were one of the most incredible times in my life. And yea...i downloaded We Made You and listened to it every single time i was bored while working at grandfathers house with my dad. And years later found out people dont even like that song.
