I was watching the cavs & warriors game at the gym......can't believe what I saw. I still think cavs are a championship caliber team, they just had a bad night.

Nice game for the Bulls yesterday with GS coming up tomorrow. Hoiberg has managed to turn Derrick & Jimmy both in combo guards, slashing and created for others while Pau kills it on the block. Since Christmas, Rose has averaged 19 points on 48% shooting.

Lebron really should've stayed in Miami. At least Spolestra knew how to use his players and plus it was a better foundation. Blatt looks clueless on the court. This is probably the best team he's ever had, but this team has no identity. The beat teams off talent, they play terrible defense and barely run any sets. Trading Wiggins was also stupid. Lebron is getting old, he won't be able to guard the Steph Curry's and the Klay Thompson's of the NBA. Wiggins would've been the perfect understudy for Lebron and he could've passed him the torch. Now he's stuck with a above average PF and an injury prone second option. He's almost in the same situation that he was in when he was with the Heat. Except Bosh > Love and he has a few more shooters around him. Oh and Tristan Thompson robbed the Cavs.

Yeah looking back that supporting cast and FO situation is MUCH better than the one he has in Cleveland. Kyrie & K Love's defense got exposed big time last night. Put those 2 in a pick & roll and go to work. Kyrie died on almost every screen and Love was never in the right position. Part of the reason they were such a tough out for the Bulls & Dubs last year was because Delly & Tristan are huge upgrades on the defensive side of the ball.

Delly has played ok this year but Tristan Thompson really hasn't done nothing. Maybe he'll turn it on in the playoffs like he last year, the Cavs probably won't have too much trouble getting out the East but if they play the Spurs or the Warriors in the finals they have no chance.

    NBA on ESPN tonight fellas.
    GS @ Chicago 7pm cst
    ATL @ Portland 930pm cst

I'm gonna go with Chicago & ATL.

Whenever we play the Warriors we do a good job of getting them out of their game, so I don't expect a shootout like we saw in Cleveland. Few matchups to watch for are Curry v. Rose and Dray v. Taj. Rose has played him well head to head as he does with most other PGs. Since Snell is starting I expect to see Curry hiding on him most of the night, so Derrick's gotta really get after it defensively. It'll be up to Tony to make Steph work on that end, which goes a long ways towards slowing him down on offense. I think Taj has the ability to hang with Draymond, but he's gotta be careful not to get in early foul trouble because Niko will have issues with him.

d-wade got worked last night lol...

said it when the schedule was released that janurary would be a rough month for the heat and it's really proving to be. just came home after a 6 game western conference road trip and now we start another 5 game road trip. that's what we get for playing 85% of the first two months at home.

I got Golden State and Portland tonight. GSW is just too good and Portland is always a tough place to win at

Greek Freak slammed all over Whiteside last night. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Portland wins, Dame is one of my favorite players in the league and putting up MVP type numbers.

Felt bad for the dude cuz Portland pretty much said f--- the franchise but we're gonna keep you with no help. Can't imagine Lillard on an actual contender

They're a good franchise, only a matter of time before they turn it around. CJ is good and they have a couple of intriguing bigs, but they need to nail their draft picks since it's not really a great FA destination.

Yeah Rose, Butler, and Pau have been at their spots all season. Snell, Doug, and Niko have all started at the 3, Niko started the season at the 4 but eventually Taj got the go ahead. I think we'll see a lot of Taj/Portis and Taj/Niko front court pairings since GS loves to go small with Dray at the 5.

Did y'all hear what Kevin Love said. Dude threw Lebron under the bus. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded.

I can't wait to watch the raptors toss the celtics around in a about an hour. It's going to be a entertaining evening of some basketball.

One of the easiest calls for a charge on Aaron Gordon but of course they call a shooting foul. Canaan gets revenge and sinks a 3 tho. :emoji_sunglasses:
