Jan 21, 2016 Which albums would you recommend to him if you had to pick from this decade only? I guess I would say Gutter Water IDLSIDGO GKMC Oxymoron Thats what comes to my mind rn at least
Jan 21, 2016 If I had a friend who wanted to get into the genre, I'd start her off with s--- from the 80's and 90's tbh. But OT, GKMC Summertime '06 Maybe Tha Carter 3
Jan 21, 2016 Stay Trippy Capital Punishment BetterOffDead Barter 6 Monster Rodeo Midnight Marauders Trap Musik Ridin' Dirty Teflon Don Drought 3
Jan 21, 2016 Probably GKMC or something. I wouldn't want to throw them with weird experimental stuff like Young Thug or Kanye. GKMC is good and accessible
Jan 21, 2016 from this decade only: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye West Teflon Don - Rick Ross LiveLoveASAP - ASAP Rocky Watch the Throne - Kanye West & Jay-Z Take Care - Drake good kid m.A.A.d city - Kendrick Lamar Yeezus - Kanye West My Krazy Life - YG Tha Tour, Pt. 1 - Rich g--- Monster - Future To p---- A Butterfly - Kendrick Lamar If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late Dirty Sprite II - Future
Jan 21, 2016 Both pre TPAB kendrick albums are easily accessible I guess. Pinata pretty good rapping with nice beats, and a straight forward enough album for them to get. Flockaveli (the epitome and essence of trap) --- for the experimental off the wall album Pilot Talk (just because) Apollo Brown (token instrumental album, but it's rly gud) and yeah that should do it, rest they can find out themselves. And if I know their taste more than I can rec more specific s---
Jan 21, 2016 It ALWAYS depends on what they are already in to If they listen to s--- like Hardcore and Metal, i wouldnt tell them to listen to TPAB or some s---
Jan 21, 2016 it depends if they're familiar with the sound then: the money store to p---- a butterfly yeezus how I got over skelethon if they know nothing about hip hop then some accessible albums such as mbdtf, wtt
