Feb 9, 2016 The Simpsons in its prime is the beat, but the last 17 seasons or so s--- all over its legacy Voted South Park for consistency
Feb 9, 2016 I don't know what it is, but as I get older - I hate South Park more and more. I even find the episodes i used to love horribly unfunny. The writing in the newer seasons has gone to s--- IMO. That being said, I still cry when I watch Family Guy. I guess FG is my type of humor. As for The Simpsons, used to love it growing up - but as I started loving football more and more, I never kept up with the new stuff. I don't think i've watched an episode in about 10 years.
Feb 9, 2016 South park gets my vote for being consistently great. The Simpsons up to Season 8 was incredible and Family Guy's just pfffftt, ill maybe watch it when I'm pissed enough for it to be slightly funny.
Feb 9, 2016 Yeah I'd definitely agree, I'm not a huge fan of the recent seasons especially the episodes linking together thing, kinda why I said great not amazing. Whereas I consider the first seasons of The Simpsons as a much higher quality show
Feb 9, 2016 ignoring anything to do with consistency and whatnot, which show has been the funniest overall? South Park seasons 6-11 hands down
Feb 9, 2016 nothing will ever touch simpsons seasons 2-7 it's literally perfect television not only no cartoon, but no anime or live action show can even hope to come close. they were still near untouchable just outside of their prime too in seasons 1 and 8-13
Feb 9, 2016 Nothing touches Simpsons in its prime. Sadly it has been on so long, there's as many mediocre episodes as there are great ones by now. Family Guy (even at its peak) was always just throwaway Simpsons material by less talented people. South Park is great, but also past its prime by this point. You'll get 1 or 2 brilliant episodes a season now if youre lucky, which is just enough to keep me watching.
