Feb 14, 2016 Here's my current thoughts on tracks: - I f--- with Ultra Light Beam so heavy, amazing opener. - Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 & 2 felt very disjointed to the opener and f----- me up a little, I like the content of the song but the production didn't fit in a sense. - I f----- with Famous production-wise, content-wise ehhhhhh - I f----- with Feedback heavily - Low Lights felt like an unneeded buildup to High Lights which High Lights didn't deserve. I REALLY don't f--- with High Lights. - I like Freestyle 4 but it felt like you didn't really get anything out of the track until the last minute, took really long to build up which made it worst by the fact that the track is only two minutes long and felt that Kanye could have done more with the track, production is crazy though, probably my favorite beat on the album tbh. - I kinda like I Love Kanye but felt kinda of unneeded listening through this again. - I am actually not feeling Waves right now for the most part, production was good but felt very under-utilized, feel like it needed more time to be fleshed out. - I REALLY f--- with FML, everything about this is amazing to me. - I also really f--- with Real Friends - I kinda f--- with Wolves, not f---ing with the Kanye verse, felt Frank should have been utilized more outside of the part he got and Sia should have been added back (glad they took Vic off tbh) Misc. Thoughts: - Album in general (from Ultra Light Beam to Wolves) feels kinda of disjointed in tracklisting (I even checked if my tracklist is right, but it is). Feel like some songs could moved around and transitions could be better. - I kinda like that he had bonus tracks and I kinda don't. Wish he did the bonus tracks in a separate Deluxe version rather than have it in the regular version. Unless people hear the last part of 30 hours they may think the album is still going. - Production was overall great but at times was a little underwhelming (Waves somewhat) and some tracks felt like they didn't really utilize the beat to it's fullest potential. - I still agree to my sentiment of this being a good album, but Kanye's worst in his discog. As of right now I would give this a 7/10 on my 2nd playthrough. Will listen to it some more of course and pick apart the songs more.
