Feb 14, 2016 He's just moving with the times I think, lyricism has took the passenger seat to delivery recently and I think Kanye is doing that as well. Since Yeezus era Kanye's lyrics has been all about energy and delivery rather than metaphors and wordplay. I appreciate that he still gave us a cool verse on NMPILA, but I find his newer style to have a different kind of charm, idk how to put into words
