Feb 23, 2016 low lights is just pointless filler... I can't comprehend why someone would want to listen to that multiple times lol
Feb 23, 2016 My taste is pretty d--- plausible, brah. Reputable eclecticism in my aurally-pleasing library of sonically recreational proportions is just one of my many irresistible charms. I don't mean no harm, Sanaa S'Lathan. Ain't gotta get all diva on me. Sim-SIMHA! You got the keys to the Bimha. V'rum.
Feb 23, 2016 Nah I can't give Kanye the label of having a classic when he rode his production and features to a good album. The 2-3 minute tracks makes the project just sound unfinished/rushed. There's some jams on here, and the potential was there, but it's not a classic.
Feb 23, 2016 it's not a classic for me and won't be unless the 'finished' version is drastically different
Feb 24, 2016 Ya what in the f---? I swear the consensus was that LR is easily kanyes second best album after MBDTF?
Feb 24, 2016 Today was the first day I didn't listen to it since the day it officially released, and I missed it. I feel like if every song had the feeling that 100% effort was put into them, like Ultralight Beam and Wolves (Sia version) do, it would definitely be a classic. But I already feel like skipping Feedback, Low Lights, and I Love Kanye (although I did listen to ILK about 10x before skipping it the first time.) 9/10 for me, excellent replay value so far since the rest of the songs are top-notch, although some are oddly short. The guest features are all positive additions to it, while I think the Kanye verses are one of the weaker parts. I dislike how many times Kanye repeats the same line 2-3 times. However when Chance repeats the same line Edit: I forgot to say that the FML and FSMH Pt 2 rap verses are awesome though
Feb 24, 2016 I mean, lots of people still think that. It starts and ends very strong and has kanye's best song of all time (Gone) but falls apart a bit in the middle in terms of sequencing (plus crack music and the random common song). Just goes to show how strong his discography is that my former favorite ye album might be my least favorite now and it's still an 8/10-ish.
Feb 24, 2016 Give it time lads, we should all know by now you have to wait atleast a few months before you can call it a classic. It happens with the majority of the big albums that come out, Lets not forget how quickly peoples opinions of mmlp2 changed within a few weeks of its release..
Feb 24, 2016 Kanye releases an album not finished, everyone calls it a classic Kendrick releases a creative, good music, album and people make fun of people for rushing into calling it a classic.
Feb 25, 2016 what people? this is the only place that really stan it... other than that the album isn't even critically acclaimed
