    It came out a while ago, but just relistened to Murs and 9th Wonder's Brighter Daze and it's still a great album.

    This young lady@therealmackenzienicole has been a talent since singular numbers like 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 etc. So talented that it made her dad Trav and I begin conversations some years back on starting a subsidiary label along side Strange to put out and showcase this young ladies wonderful talent. Trav knew that what we built with Strange, ( crazy, dark, hardcore rap) that we would probably have to create a new label so the fans of the (crazy, dark, hardcore rap) would not have a coronary when they heard something other than (crazy, dark, hardcore rap) coming from the Strange Music brand. Trav told me to think of a name for this subsidiary label and like me you know I'm gonna go the backwards route and say, EGN ARTS MUSIC! Entertainment Group N9ne arts Music. But when you read EGN ARTS backwards what does it say? Ha Ha I knew you guys could read! Lol after Trav and I told our colleagues on the west coast about the name change, they immediately said WOAH WOAH woah you guys would have to start all over with the people at retail and what we've built with Strange already has a good name at retail! That makes sense right? Shortly after we came up with the name for the subsidiary label EGN ARTS MUSIC, We started signing other acts that would go good with the label that wasn't (crazy, dark, hardcore rap) like Above Waves was the first to sign after@therealmackenzienicole,@darreinsafron etc etc. So knowing that we would have to start all the way over with a new label and not use the power of the name Strange would be stupid in my eyes what about yours? So you're@strangemusicceo and your daughter is an AMAZING talent so you want the world to know like we've known for so many years. What do you do? You have a successful record label so h--- YEAH right? Right! Put that s--- out on Strange along with Above Waves, Darrein etc. So to the fans who feel like Strange is going soft or changing for the worst and talking s--- about the label is falling and you don't wanna listen anymore and you batter Tech N9ne and Trav about how THIS aint Strange and THAT aint Strange, Trav is proud of his baby girl! It aint his fault his partner is Crazy, Dark Hardcore rap! The end!

    I'm glad tech didnt make another sub label. Strange Lane failed so would anything else. I see no problem with him having softer act's on Strange. If you don't like them don't listen. It's that simple.

    Um no lol.. Didn't u read that post? He wanted to start that way back, but he was told it would be like starting over again so all the "alternative" acts would still be on strange to avoid that hassle. I say the same thing as lyricvore, if u don't like the s--- don't listen and stick with what u like. It's called variety. That's how you take over
