Mar 22, 2016 So this game just came like last week. I never play nor support indie-games but the title of this game in particular caught my eye. Salt and Sanctuary... it's a Castlevania/Metroid style 2-D platformer with Dark Souls-esque lore/difficulty/combat. The Castlevania comparison is obvious because of the platforming, side-scrolling and setting but it's like someone took SOTN and just straight up mixed it with Dark Souls... it's actually surprising they haven't been sued yet tbh. If you are a fan of these types of games, you won't be let down. I've died tons of times but loading is quick and the game itself is enjoyable. They definitely got the "f---, I can't get past this part... *2 hours later* Woot I did it." and that warm fuzzy feeling of success. There are tons of weapons/armors/spells/enemies and the artwork/style of the game itself is really nice. From items to stat-building, it's all here. It's crazy to see how games nowadays take ideas from all the games around them and throw them all together in one giant pot... Salt and Sanctuary is one of the games where it works in it's favor and somehow feels original. For only 20 bucks on the PS4, I highly recommend getting this game. (Also on Vita) With Dark Souls 3 coming out soon, they chose to release this game at the perfect time. Get your souls fix from a surprisingly well-done indie, platforming game... before the real game comes out. (Dark Souls 3) P.S. Just another reason I love these types of games... multiple branching, interconnected paths. I guess I've already fought optional bosses and completely skipped one of the 1st bosses of the games and never had a clue. I'm lvl 52 now and still have to backtrack to go find out what I missed/skipped. Guess this b---- gives all the newbies trouble: I completely skipped her.
Mar 22, 2016 Summon as in multiplayer? There is currently only same screen local coop... however they are talking about adding online coop with an update/patch. It's lame cause people still leave notes behind telling you "there is a secret door ahead" etc so the online is definitely already there.
Mar 22, 2016 Comes out on PC and Vita later... kinda weird they released PS4 only tbh Never heard of Dishwasher.. looks bloody
