I love his work but it has everything to do with the artists he has in his circle (kamasi, robert glasper, bilal, thundercat, etc) It's crazy what staying loyal and not switching up on those who have been with you since day 1 can turn into...now that TDE/terrance/brainfeeder thing is like a LA movement and Herbie Hancock should probably be added to that lineup
Apr 2, 2016 I knew there were 2 singers on untitled 6, ceelo and another guy. What I didn't know is that the other guy was Kendrick. The singing was on point, kendrick's singing improved a loooooooooooooooooooot

Apr 2, 2016 Ali is definitely doing a great job with the mixing but you would be surprised at how kendrick can do these voices without any help. Kendrick did the alien voice on stage a few years ago, and from what I have heard, he was singing a lot during his shows in Australia.
Apr 2, 2016 Bonnaroo festival in 2012...for Cartoon & Cereal It wasn't exactly the same, but it was d--- close to what he was doing with his voice on some studio songs. He wouldn't be able to do the exact same voices if we're being honest.... cuz what he does is called vocal stacking, it's not just Pitch Automation. You need to record at least 6-7 different vocals with different frequencies. That's what Andre 3000 and Eminem do on some songs (with different frequencies) But yeah I heard he only did it once or twice...I guess it wouldn't be comfortable to do it for an entire show. With that being said, it actually proved that kendrick doesn't need any studio effects to impersonate Andre 3000's alien voice...he also impersonated Wiz Khalifa a few years ago
