Apr 14, 2016 if they're like me, then they're great guys, eat caviar every day and have a degree in music..thats exactly what I would expect from people who share my music taste
Apr 14, 2016 I'm sorry but there's so many things I disagree with this post... Firstly, you make it seems like only the kendrick fans would consider tpab "one of the greatest albums ever", that's wrong. Correct me if I'm wrong but tpab is one of, if not the, most critically acclaimed album of the past 15-20 years. And the album is also being held to such high regards by a lot of artists (joe budden for example, he doesn't enjoy it but still call the album one of the best in music history). You can't expect the kendrick fans to have different opinions. secondly, Eminem has the largest fanbase in hip hop history, so I don't see whats wrong with people talking about his hair or personal life...that s--- happens with every big celebrity and its much better to have all of these topics in one section. If anything, it's a testament of how big Eminem still is today.
Apr 14, 2016 Bruh, this is why people hate Kendrick fans. TPAB is a dense album but it's not incomprehensibly smart. Acting like you need a phd to understand it is what's giving Kendrick a bad name. Also kinda funny you spelled 'required' in 'required knowledge' wrong.
Apr 14, 2016 lol not sure what you want to discuss in the yearly breaks between albums, only so many discussion points about literally his music dont see you creating any discussion tho
Apr 14, 2016 MBDTF is one of the most critically acclaimed hip hop albums of all time as well. Kanye fans still arent as thickheaded as recent Kendrick stans.
Apr 14, 2016 Yes they were. Of course they aren't anymore but when the album dropped 6 years ago, the kanye fans were talking about nothing but how mbdtf was the undisputable greatest album in music history
Apr 14, 2016 The funny thing is I've never heard someone playing or talking about TPAB in real life Edit: imagine hanging with your friends and playing TPAB. Sounds awful
Apr 14, 2016 It's funny because I still see people chanting the entire alright (not just the hook) at protests, also king kunta.
Apr 14, 2016 they werent calling other people stupid for not "getting it" they were talking about the merits of the album, INCLUDING, its flaws. you talk to a typical TPAB fan on this site and you'll end up w the impression that there's literally nothing wrong with TPAB and its not about how much you love an album or how good you think it is, its how you express that opinion i stan thug, but before thug was big on this site i quoted and directly engaged in convo w every single person about it. even the ones that would just call him a fa----. i would ask why. ask why that matters when it comes to music. ask what they didnt like about the sound. and then like a day later, they would be fans lol TPAB fans dont do that. they cite metacrtic in hoards and belittle those with criticisms of the record and this is all honestly because TPAB gave people w dated, or even outright horrible, taste in the past a new artist to cape for. These are fans that think GKMC isnt great now that TPAB exists lmfao. Fans that suddenly think section80 is one of the best albums ever cuz "jazz" is a talking point now. fans that think b/c GKMC has poetic justice it's commercial and OD is better (lmfao) fans that have horrible taste and arent being checked for it.
Apr 14, 2016 @Narsh, soz but I stopped reading here: "they werent calling other people stupid for not "getting it" This is exactly what they were doing.
