Apr 20, 2016 Gotta Know is really f---ing good. There aren't many weak spots on here, Layers and Quiet are a bit generic but I enjoy them enough anyway.
Apr 21, 2016 This album is alright. Went in not expecting much and came out content. The album's first several tracks really set the tone. Royce shows that he does have the ability to construct songs some what and he's not just a rapping robot. That gets lost later on in the album which is why I think the entire second half of the album just kind of blends together. The fact that this album is 17 tracks I think is also part of the problem.

Apr 25, 2016 Love this album from front to back. I've heard people say startercoat is their least favorite track but somehow it's one of my faves. Love that beat!!!
Apr 25, 2016 After a few listens I really like it. Layers is definitely my least favourite song though. I bought my tickets to see him next month, I'm pretty d--- pumped. I saw him perform a couple BME songs a few years back at Bonnaroo and he seems like he'll be a dope performer.

May 1, 2016 My main problem with the album is the production. The beats were fine, but none of them were too impressive. Layers is still my favorite song. A collab between three rappers I f--- with heavily I'd give this about a 6.5/10
May 16, 2016 Saw him live tonight, and it was a great show. He did a lot of mixtape stuff and he had Kid Vishis with him, which I was pretty happy with.

Aug 4, 2016 Royce was interviewed by Sway recently. He revealed that he is putting together a deluxe version of Layers (no details beyond that), then another Trust the Shooter type project before Book Of Royce. He also stated that he's recording with Premo for a couple of weeks in August in hopes of releasing Prhyme 2 in December. Busy guy. I hope all this s--- comes out. I'm still listening to Layers and TTS pretty regularly.
Aug 5, 2016 They don't really need long I think. Royce and Premier are such an effective pair that getting them together is 90% of the work. Greatness will probably follow. It really is a tough act to follow though.
