Apr 25, 2016 What I loved about MBDTF was just how contextually fascinating it was; he was coming in as the most hated man in the world and with shadows of an already impressive catalog he had to once again prove his worth. He embraced all the things that were being said about him and it simply resonates you just because it's so human and brutally honest, the only thing that wasn't human was the production and musical arrangements behind those emotions. It took me awhile to get the narrative of Yeezus and my ear wasn't really attuned to the sometimes industrial sound at the time, it really is a fascinating look into what was on his mind for sure.

Last winter, I listened to it nearly every night. Walking in a snow storm with the album on is majestic af. Feels so surreal. I can't listen to it when it's warm af outside though, which is why it's low on my list right now.
Apr 29, 2016 That's what I meant -- for me at least playing 808s is very dependent on my setting. The other albums not so much
