"Dark Necessities", the first single from their new album called The Getaway. This will be the bands 11th album and set to release on June 17th!

Pre-order now and get an instant download of Dark Necessities-http://thegetaway.warnerbrosrecords.com/

Finally after five years, we hear new music from RHCP. I am really enjoying the track so far and love its chill, melodic laid-back beat.
Of course the first thing that caught my attention was Flea's incredible slap-bass playing.

I already got my pre-order down and will be seeing them in Napa Valley in a couple more weeks!!

Their last album wasn't the best-- but I have more hope in this one now that they had at least five years to connect with their new guitarist

I don't even get it, I would've thought Nick Cave was a fan but he apparently hates them lmao. The only reason I like the quote, is cause Aussie banter outweighs whatever skills RCP have at making music lmfao

You know what....I forgot I'm With You. So I didn't really like the last 2 at all. Stadium Arcadium was the last good album from them, for me at least.

"I'm with you" showed signs of them watering down in my personal opinion.. I didn't care for it aside from a few songs...Even being the longtime fan I am of them.
This once again just sounds like a "watered down" version of them again :/.. Its a step up from their last albums sound imo, but its just kinda stale when I think Red Hot Chili Peppers.. Its not bad, I could play it in the background chilling or whatever but its nowhere near even Stadium Arcadium.
