Jun 7, 2016 I wouldn't go that far. I think he makes "easy listening" music but his s--- is pretty safe and generic. Album def reminds me of some of the west-coast influenced No Limit albums from the late 90s, except that YG sounds like a less talented Nipsey Hussle on some of these tracks.

Jun 7, 2016 On topic though, Its a jammin album, but d--- this dude is not original at all, and cant spit at all. The blatant wana be classic west coast skits, and copycat sounds are wack, the difference was the original west coast cats were making good and organic music. I know his new album isn't produced by mustard, but god d--- these beats are just as annoying. York, summertime 06, TPAB, malibu, GKMC, H&C, Doris, documentary 2 are pretty much the only interesting albums that came out of the west coast these past 2 years. Good To Be Home wasn't bad either, it was just a poorly mixed project.

Jun 7, 2016 I mean the only reason YG is better than Kendrick now is cuz he's been dropping hot music but if you were to ask me who's the best rapper out of the three main choices (Kendrick, Vince, and YG) YG might be last.
