Oversaturated, watered down, too many wannabees and not enough love within the community. There were probably so many local hip-hop shows and now there's about 4-5 in the entire SoCal area.

I follow many promoters, actively go to hip-hop shows and try to network with people so I have some idea of what I'm talking about. I would disagree with myself but with Soundcloud, anybody can be a rapper and not give back to any local scene; many Soundcloud rappers don't even believe in networking and concerts, they just hope that an algorithm will pick them one day.
