    @Jet✞ for a penny stock ecr seems a lil too volatile for my liking. Im iffy about that one.
    Mgt sounds like it might be a winner tho bout to hop on that one

    @Loyalty i'd definitely put MGT over ECR. literally haven't looked into ECR at all yet.

    MGT boutta pretty much start fresh. they in the process of appointing john mcafee as the new CEO and once that happens, it's a wrap.

    he been on twitter talking to shareholders and such and he said he got us. multiple announcements coming in the next few weeks.

    sad but true story, sold my shares in MGT for GEVO :emoji_slight_frown: i'm a sad boy. one week later, MGT starts to pop off again. gonna try and buy back in next week and will be following ECR as well. they just got upgraded to a 2 on Zacks (Buy)

    Good looking out, I'm gonna pick up MGT asap. didn't realize I'd have to "request" to cancel my limit order on twitter and HP. hopefully it stays cheap til that clears and I can get a bunch of shares. Didn't know John McAfee was the McAfee of the antivirus program so I'm feelin good about this. Especially since @El Ares is as well, since I really have no industry knowledge

    Imma look into it a little more. Im just a little more wary of these indy oil and gas stocks. Especially when they show signs of high volatility. This seems like it has been on a good uptrend the past couple of weeks but its day to day is still sort of erratic. Which throws up a red flag for me especially considering crude oil prices past few months

    Imma keep it on my watch list tho i dont think it's a dud or anything just has a little extra pinch of risky atm

    @Narsh @Trippy Skippy Read through this thread and look at Jet's suggestions on penny stocks, that's where to start. Don't do what I did and buy like six $15 stocks, buy 50+ $1 stocks instead

    If a $1 stock goes to $4 you've quadrupled your investment but if a $15 goes to $19 it doesn't help much unless you have lots of shares

    where to start as in which stocks to start off with? if you look through the thread, you'll see the stocks i'm following but i'm liking MGT, GEVO, AMD and ECR.

    some general, basic tips would be to make sure you follow your stocks every day. anything can happen in a day and you can't leave your children unattended.

    careful with stocks that just randomly surge out of nowhere. a lot of the times they don't go anywhere after that week and reverse itself (learned the hard way).

    watching stocks is very underrated..don't always feel like you have to buy immediately when you see green. stocks are obviously not just green every single day, so try and buy when the stock is down which could be the next day or the next two days.

    @Loyalty @El Ares thoughts on PDEX?

    It's looking good at its highest point in 5 years but still not much higher than it's usual $2-3 range.. do you think it has good potential? just looking it up real quick it looks like some weird surgical supplies, not sure if I would invest unless I read a bunch of 'buy' suggestions from smart people, since I don't really know if it's going to change the medical industry or anything. but truly idk. also that's just me, El Ares seems to have a lot more trading experience
